Harris Cycle Hire

We are a new company based in Leverburgh. We have recently taken over Horgabost bike hire company which was established by Andy Harvey. We are now operating from Leverburgh, which is the main village in South Harris.

We are a family run business with myself, my wife and 3 children all ready to chip and carry out the day-to-day tasks to keep the bikes on the road.
Our bikes are available for full or half day hires. For full day hires we can arrange delivery and collection to your B&B, self-catering, campsite or if you are sailing, we can meet you at the harbour.

The Harris roads can be daunting with the amount of traffic but once the ferries have passed the roads tend to get quiet after 6pm. This would be the ideal time to take advantage of our half day hire. Time to enjoy the peace and quiet, this gives you the perfect time to relax, explore and take in the sunsets

Leverburgh is connected by a fantastic bus network from the east and west side of Harris and the ferry from Berneray. If you want a different way to explore our great wee island, Harris cycle hire can provide the tools.
We also have a fantastic network of businesses and honesty boxes. We can provide a trail to explore all these great wee stops.

We have just purchased two brand new ebikes and three youth bikes but most of our bikes are hybrid or mountain bikes suited to the hilly Harris terrain.
